Established in 1950, Your Credit Union began serving members by offering only loans, savings and chequing accounts. Today, members can find a variety of products and services for all their personal and business financial needs. 

Your Credit Union was originally made up of six distinct founding groups: the Education Charter Group, the Municipal Charter Group, the Ottawa Citizen Charter Group, the Howard Smith Charter Group, the United Counties Educational Charter Group, and the Trillium Chart Group. Each of these groups served a specific group of members in these closed bonds. As of June 2009, Your Credit Union opened its doors to the communities it serves and invites everyone to become a member.

Over that past 60 years, Your Credit Union has undergone many changes to better serve its members and surrounding communities. However, Your Credit Union is still owned by its members; and is dedicated to giving them an active voice. Your Credit Union is also committed to delivering a unique experience to each and every one of its members through excellent service.
