In Our Community

🚶Hike for Hospice ‍‍🚶‍➡️

We were honored to both be a sponsor and participate in this year’s Hike for Hospice, supporting the incredible work of Care for Hospice Cornwall.

This event helped raise much-needed funds so local residents and their families can continue to receive compassionate, end-of-life care at no cost.  The annual Hike for Hospice is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people come together for comfort, care, and compassion. You can watch the celebration video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdP-DiqMKmw.

The YCU Hikers Team raised more than $1,400.  We’re so proud of our hikers for stepping up, showing their community spirit, and supporting such an important cause. Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and cheered the team on!

Supporting Golf for Hope

Happy to be a sponsor for the upcoming Golf for Hope tournament in support of the Agapè Centre in Cornwall.

Events like this help provide essential food and support services to individuals and families in Cornwall and we’re honored to be part of it.
💙

If you’re golfing, sponsoring, or supporting it in any way, it all makes a difference.

🌱Keeping Our Communities Clean 🌱

Doing our part, one street at a time

We’re proud to share that we’re taking part in both the City of Cornwall’s Adopt-a-Street and Ottawa’s Cleaning the Capital programs.

This means our team will be out over the spring and summer helping keep our streets clean and looking their best, because taking care of our community goes beyond banking.

If you spot us out there, give us a wave 👋

 ONFE – SPARK Soirée

We are proud to be a Dinner Sponsor for this year’s SPARK Soirée on May 6th, supporting the important work of the Ontario Network of Financial Education (ONFE).

From a healthy start through the School Breakfast Program, to hands-on learning with Classroom Gardens, to one-on-one support from Volunteers in Education, this event fuels brighter futures for Ottawa’s students.

A Family in Every Sense

Everyone who works at Your Credit Union shares a belief in the co-operative model and a commitment to improving the financial well-being of our member-owners, but the culture of the organization is really that of a family. We genuinely care about our colleagues both professionally and personally. The same is true for our members, who reward us with relationships that are warm and trusting. Our communities are our extended families and we and our members share a desire to support them. Much of that support comes from the initiative of our staff, who see a way to help and then do it.
