In Our Community

YCU is teaming up with The Caring and Sharing Exchange to deliver Christmas Food Hampers to Ottawa families in need.

To support the effort, our two Ottawa branches will be hosting bake sales on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Stop by, grab a treat, and help us make the season a little brighter.

❄️ Project Snowbank ❄️

YCU supports Project Snowbank – a student led snowsuit drive based out of Glebe Collegiate Institute.

We happily accepted donated snowsuits and other winter clothing from November 3rd to November 24th 2025 at our Ottawa Branches. These items were donated to the Ottawa Snowsuit Fund and the Maison Marie-Louise foundation, who help underprivileged and vulnerable children and families in Ottawa.

The YCU Angel Tree is Back! 🎄

Your Credit Union’s Cornwall branches are proud to partner with the Optimist Club of Cornwall for this year’s Toy Drive, bringing holiday cheer to local children in need.

✨ Drop off new, unwrapped toys at either Cornwall branch until December 12th. 🍪 Plus, join us for our bake sales on November 26, 27 & 28. All proceeds will go toward supporting the Toy Drive!

Together, we can make a season brighter for every child in our community.

Proud to Support Women Who Make a Difference

Your Credit Union was proud to sponsor the 100+ Women Who Care Cornwall event on November 5th. An incredible evening that brought together local women to create real impact in their community. We also congratulate the two winning charities, the Baldwin House and The Gathering.

We’re inspired by the generosity and commitment of this group, who continue to show the power of collective giving. Together, small actions can create big change.

Comm(you)nity
A Family in Every Sense

Everyone who works at Your Credit Union shares a belief in the co-operative model and a commitment to improving the financial well-being of our member-owners, but the culture of the organization is really that of a family. We genuinely care about our colleagues both professionally and personally. The same is true for our members, who reward us with relationships that are warm and trusting. Our communities are our extended families and we and our members share a desire to support them. Much of that support comes from the initiative of our staff, who see a way to help and then do it.
