In Our Community

🏡 🛍🎉 Great Glebe Garage Sale 🏡 🛍🎉

Loved the opportunity to help make the Great Glebe Garage Sale such a success this year!

We had YCU team members who spent the day at the YCU tent chatting with the community, as well as those who volunteered with the Glebe BIA to help keep the neighbourhood clean, organized, and safe.  We appreciate everyone’s time, energy, and community spirit.

The Great Glebe Garage Sale is one of Ottawa's most beloved community events, and we're proud to play a small part in making it happen each year.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

Supporting Golf for Hope

Happy to sponsor the Golf for Hope tournament in support of the Agapè Centre in Cornwall.

Events like this help provide essential food and support services to individuals and families in Cornwall and we’re honored to be part of it. 💙

For those who golfed, sponsored, or supported it in any way, it all makes a difference.

🌱Keeping Our Communities Clean 🌱

Doing our part, one street at a time

We’re proud to share that we’re taking part in both the City of Cornwall’s Adopt-a-Street and Ottawa’s Cleaning the Capital programs.

This means our team will be out over the spring and summer helping keep our streets clean and looking their best, because taking care of our community goes beyond banking.

If you spot us out there, give us a wave 👋

📚🎒🚌  Stuff the Bus: Supplies for Success  📚🎒🚌

YCU was thrilled to partner with the Caring and Sharing Exchange on their Stuff the Bus initiative.  This initiative helps equip Ottawa children and youth in need with new backpacks and school supplies in preparation for the 2026 school year.

For families already facing financial pressure, a new backpack and essential school supplies can be out of reach.

YCU, its members and staff raised a total of $9,000.  That’s enough to equip 150 students!

A huge thanks to all members and staff who helped out on this initiative.

Comm(you)nity
A Family in Every Sense

Everyone who works at Your Credit Union shares a belief in the co-operative model and a commitment to improving the financial well-being of our member-owners, but the culture of the organization is really that of a family. We genuinely care about our colleagues both professionally and personally. The same is true for our members, who reward us with relationships that are warm and trusting. Our communities are our extended families and we and our members share a desire to support them. Much of that support comes from the initiative of our staff, who see a way to help and then do it.
