In Our Community

YCU teamed up with The Caring and Sharing Exchange to deliver Christmas Food Hampers to 4 Ottawa families in need.  Huge thanks to the generosity of our members, staff, and everyone who supported our bake sales and fundraising efforts.

We’re proud to work alongside the Caring and Sharing Exchange to help make the holidays a little brighter for local families!

❄️ YCU is Taking Part in the Coldest Night of the Year ❄️

We are proud to participate in the Coldest Night of the Year walk on February 28, joining communities across Cornwall and Ottawa to support people facing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

In Cornwall, we’ll be walking in support of Habitat for Humanity. To contribute click here: https://lnkd.in/eb2SShCd

In Ottawa, our walk supports the important work of the Youth Services Bureau. To contribute click here: https://lnkd.in/egcuujuD

YCU is also excited to match the first $5,000 raised by the YCU teams

It’s a powerful reminder that when we come together, even on the coldest nights, we can help create real change in our communities. 💙

🎄The YCU Angel Tree 🎄

Your Credit Union’s Cornwall branches were proud to partner with the Optimist Club of Cornwall for this year’s Toy Drive, bringing holiday cheer to local children in need.

Thanks to your generosity we were able to support more than 120 children in our community.  Toys were picked up for distribution on December 12, and seeing the both the final result and the amazing people behind it truly reminded us of what community is all about.  Thank you to our staff, members and everyone who contributed.  You helped make the holidays brighter for so many families.

A Night of Hope

We are honoured to be the presenting sponsor of the Agape Centre’s annual A Night of Hope, an inspiring event that supports vital programs for individuals and families in our community.

The Agape Centre does incredible work year-round, and we’re proud to stand behind an evening dedicated to compassion, connection, and positive change.

A Family in Every Sense

Everyone who works at Your Credit Union shares a belief in the co-operative model and a commitment to improving the financial well-being of our member-owners, but the culture of the organization is really that of a family. We genuinely care about our colleagues both professionally and personally. The same is true for our members, who reward us with relationships that are warm and trusting. Our communities are our extended families and we and our members share a desire to support them. Much of that support comes from the initiative of our staff, who see a way to help and then do it.
