CU Succeed Youth Bursary 

The CU Succeed Youth Bursary supports Ontario postsecondary students who need financial assistance to pursue academic, technical, or vocational education. Awards are based primarily on demonstrated financial need and community involvement, and are awarded annually. 

Eligible applicants must be Ontario residents aged 25 or under (with some exceptions for returning recipients), enrolled in their first diploma, undergraduate degree, or Red Seal program, and earning grades of 65% or higher. As a member of YCU with an active account – if you meet the criteria above you can apply!  

In 2026, bursary amounts ranged from $1,000 to $3,000, with $100,000 being awarded in total.  We’re proud to announce that four YCU members received Bursaries from the fund in 2026.  Congratulations to Lorne W, Cullan W, Kali M and Nual W. 

Applications open for next year in the spring of 2027 – normally in May and June.  In the meantime, you can learn more here.
